Modern Garage Door Install

I was excited to tackle a new project: installing a new garage door for a client’s home. I gathered all of the necessary tools and materials, including a new garage door, hardware, screws, and a drill.

I started by measuring the opening of the garage to ensure that the new door would fit properly. Next, I removed the old door and set it aside, taking care to carefully disconnect any cables or springs that were attached.

With the old door out of the way, I began to install the new door by attaching the hinges and rollers to the door itself. I carefully positioned the door in the opening, making sure that it was level and straight.

Next, I installed the track for the door, attaching it to the ceiling of the garage. I then connected the cables and springs to the door, taking care to adjust the tension so that the door would open and close smoothly.

Finally, I installed the motor and control panel, testing the door to make sure it was operating properly. I cleaned up any debris and gave the client a thorough tutorial on how to use and maintain the new garage door.

Overall, the installation process was a bit labor-intensive, but the end result was worth it. The client was thrilled with their new garage door, and I was proud to have completed another successful project.
